AMU launches a platform to democratize scientific content AMU launches a platform to democratize scientific content =========================================================== CIVIS Highlights 20 Δεκεμβρίου 2023 Showcasing and popularizing research results is the aim of *Infuse*, the freshly launched platform by Aix-Marseille University. With this new tool, AMU seeks to promote scientific culture to enrich democratic discourse. ![](/storage/files/planete.jpeg) To strengthen interactions between science, research, and society, Aix-Marseille University is introducing *Infuse*, a dedicated space for promoting and popularizing research beyond its usual audiences. This media platform seeks to make scientific content more accessible, particularly to enhance interactions between researchers and citizens. To successfully carry out this essential mission, *Infuse* is organized into four main themes: 1. talents - to highlight those who contribute to research at the university; 2. discoveries - to stay informed about the latest advancements in research; 3. in detail - to focus on sometimes overlooked entities (structures, places, events, facilities etc.); 4. society - to discover the perspectives of scientists on societal topics. Each of these major themes hosts content in various formats, including articles, videos, and podcasts. A first series of podcasts, *"Dans les pas d’Archimède" (In the Footsteps of Archimedes)*, delves into the genesis of scientific discoveries. > "*It is now necessary to work more on the dissemination of scientific culture, especially improving the connection between researchers and all our fellow citizens. As a public institution of higher education and research, Aix-Marseille University has a vocation to share with everyone the scientific knowledge produced within its walls. Infuse is, therefore, a very effective tool to move in this direction*", says Eric Berton, President of Aix-Marseille University.
